Learn your choice of knitting in the round with double pointed needles or using the magic loop technique. Knitting in the round helps to avoid purl rows for those who prefer the knit stitch, makes knitted rows more even (no striations), and avoids seams in garments like socks, hats, and sweaters.

In this class we will knit a baby hat while learning how to knit in the round, casting on, avoiding twists, preventing ladders and decreases.

Learn the basics of two color knitting with this fun class! Bex will demonstrate a way to carry one color of yarn on the left hand and the other on the right hand so you don't have to twist or pick up and set down yarn strands with each color change. Once mastered, this technique allows knitters to do two-color work at speeds as fast as knitting a pattern stitch like ribbing.

Felted projects are perfect for learning new techniques. Mistakes literally disappear in the wash as the yarn shrinks and becomes fuzzy, covering holes and changes in gauge.

This class is full, but is so popular we will offer it again soon! Says Bex, "Everyone should know how to do fairisle." This is especially true with all the wonderful new patterns from Dale of Norway we just got in. Check out some of the samples Jane knit and you'll be adding a fairisle project to your queue in no time!
