Complete your socks in this class with a stretchy ribbed bind off. You'll be happiest with the K1P1 bind off, so I highly recommend using it over the K2P2 bind off.

If you'd like a review of any of the techniques in the previous classes, this is your chance. If you'd like to learn different cast-ons or short rows, bring in a swatch ready to practice.

Part 2
This purse is cylindrical in shape with a swirl on the bottom and a draw string for top closure. It explores three different stitch patterns in the middle. It calls for approximately 250 yards in a light weight cotton yarn. Stop by the shop to see the model!

Class fee is $20 for both sessions. Part 1 is on Thurs, July 30.

In this class, we will teach you how to create cables without using a cable needle. No more dropped needles, and one less thing to carry around in your knitting bag! This is a tricky technique, but once you learn how, you'll wonder how you ever lived without it.

Drinkers and teetotalers are equally welcome. Bring snacks to share and some social knitting to occupy your hands during lively conversation. We don't recommend knitting that requires concentration, such as lace, for this boisterous group.

Learn this easy continuous strand weaving technique with an expert weaver. Weaving on the Triangle Frame Loom IS truly magical. This loom dresses itself! Weaving is done with a continuous strand of yarn for both warp and weft, by weaving loops inside previous loops, to create beautiful, imaginative body drapes, ponchos, blankets, jackets and more.

No weaving experience is necessary, although advanced techniques offer the experienced weaver unique, creative ways to express oneself. No individual yarns are measured and threaded through heddles or reeds, as with traditional weaving. There are very few, if any, calculations needed, so you're ready to start weaving immediately!

Many patterns for garments are available at True Blue Fiber Friends as well as triangle looms of various sizes.

Yarn and small triangle looms will be provided for in-class use.
