True Blue Fiber Friends

Needle felting is a great way to decorate and embellish not only denim, but your knit projects as well. Imagine cutting out and gluing intricate designs in felt onto a garment and having it never come unglued....Needle felting builds the felt right on the surface of the fabric, binding the fibers of the felt directly to the fabric. Think about it like trees taking root in the soil. Once the felt fibers are rooted in the garment's fabric, they are nearly impossible to pull loose. Designs can be whimsical or traditional, two dimensional or three dimensional. The only limit is your imagination.

All materials are included in the class fee of $45.

Students will apply wool fibers to a small denim carry bag using a felting needle. Drop by the store to see samples of Bonnie's work.

Bring a picture, cross-stitch pattern or any other design you would like to duplicate on your bag. Some ideas will be provided.
