Hi, Fiber Friends!
Our first nine months at TBFF have been a great success! Thank you to all of our loyal Fiber Friends for getting the word out that we are your favorite fiber source – keep it up! With the Holidays coming, we know everyone is frantic to finish “IT”! Come on by and hang out with us, enjoy good coffee or tea, and work on your projects. If you need help finding a quick gift idea, we're here for you.

CLASSES: Saturday morning classes from 10am to 1pm unless otherwise stated. Class fee is $5/hour.

The “Colors of True Blue, Afghan I” was a wonderful way to raise funds for Access Arts here in Columbia. Twenty-five Fiber Friends either made squares or helped piece together the afghan. We all worked hard to promote the sale of raffle tickets and our total gift to Access Arts is $535. We plan to make this a yearly event for those who missed out on making a square or purchasing raffle tickets this time.

The Knitting Guild Association (TKGA) now has a Mid Mo chapter. Meetings will be hosted at True Blue Fiber Friends. Our first organizational meeting will be Saturday October 25 from 3-5pm. You do not have to be a TKGA member to join us, but if you would like to have more information, go to www.TKGA.com .

Holiday store HOURS and FRIENDS Gathering: Everyone is welcome to lounge with us at any time, but we would like to extend a special invitation to members and friends to be here on Saturday, December 27 anytime from 10am to 5pm for a Holiday Social. Bring treats and Good cheer!
We will be closing at 3pm on November 26 for the Thanksgiving Holiday, reopening at 10am November 28.
We will close at 2pm on December 24 and reopen at 10am December 26 for Christmas Holiday.
We will be closed for inventory December 28-31 and January 1 for a break from inventory (and New Years!)

Rummage and Bake SALE:
“Fiber Lovers Anonymous” and “Knitters of the Almost Round Table” are teaming up to have a back-room rummage and bake sale at TBFF to raise funds for “clubhouse” renovations and supplies.
When: Friday, Saturday and Sunday, November 7, 8 & 9
Donations of clean items in sellable condition accepted through November 5. Please bring baked goods wrapped for individual sale on November 6th & 7th. There will be a cleaning & set-up day October 26.

Don't forget, we have beautiful hand-made bags, hats, scarves, shawls, t-shirts, jewelry, paper journals and cards, paintings, photography and more on consignment from local artists. If you don't have time to make a gift yourself, your loved ones still deserve hand-made goodness!
